Vex Robotics

Vex Robotics:

Vex has educational inventor's robotic contests and parts for grades 3+; and 6+ and 9+, and manufactures a great assortment of parts that can build many things including gears, gear boxes, structural parts, electronics, and anything else you might need. A bit pricey yet popular. Various useful technical data can be found around their website: https://www.vexrobotics.com/

I like the Old School heavy duty Cortana Line

Here's an awesome: Inventors Guide (2008).

A few things I made with the older Cortana Vex Parts and a few additives:

A 360 Rotatable Claw (added to the original Vex EDR Cortana Claw Robot):

A cereal dispenser run with a Vex servo motor and an Arduino microcontroller. I was going to post this as an example of Vex parts; however, I can see I also used Erector set parts, Legos, a printed part, and what ever was lying around. It runs backwards a bit to keep it from jamming. Actually, I think I should add a more powerful motor than the Vex Servo to keep it from jamming.
